Please join Diane as she visits another sacred space, Redemption Church located at 1511 6th Avenue in Watervliet on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. In 1972, Elder John Massey, Jr. began a home Bible study held at his kitchen table. This home Bible study was a small sanctuary for nightly gatherings of prayer, devotions, and in-depth Bible study. The kitchen became too small for the group that began gathering on a regular basis, so the services were moved to a small rented church building on Fifth Avenue. Humana Cornhole Tournament at Colonie Center
Calling All CSSC Cornhole Players! CSSC is looking for seniors to join our cornhole team to compete in the Humana Cornhole Tournament at Colonie Center. On Thursdays from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., throughout the month of April, seniors from around the Capital Region will compete to see who is the championship team. Join us on Friday, April 29th from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. for our second monthly community concert in a four-part series entitled World Concert Series – Music for the Ages. Fritz’s Polka Band (FPB) was formed in 1978. From Verona, NY, Fritz’s Polka Band is NOT an oompa pa band or the stereotypical “polka” band.
