Germanwurst: Just in Time for Octoberfest

Join us on Friday, October 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the King Thiel Senior Community as we host Glen Eggelhoefer, proprietor of Rolf’s Pork Store, for a cooking demonstration entitled “Germanwurst.” The meat at Rolf’s Pork Store, located on Lexington Avenue for three generations, draws quite the crowd as this Albany butcher shop is one of the best in town. If you are worried about your protein intake, rest assured that great, delicious meats and additional German delights will be sampled and discussed at this class. Please feel free to wear your Lederhosen. There is a $5 fee to attend, which includes a simple “German-inspired” lunch. Prepayment for the class is required.
