Every holiday season, Saratoga Living and Capital Region Living magazines team up to present Capital Region Gives Back, a celebration of the people who help make our community a better place. Annually, ten individuals are selected—five from the Saratoga area and five from the greater Capital Region—who are involved in nonprofit work. The magazines tell their stories in their Holiday Issue, which hit newsstands in November, and then they are honored at a cocktail party and awards ceremony in December. The evening will highlight the best our region stands for – compassion, connection, and giving. In addition, the event serves as a fundraiser for all of the honorees’ respective organizations; when you buy tickets, you will select one of the ten nonprofits, and 50 percent of the cost of your ticket will be donated directly to that organization. The honoree that brings in the most money for their nonprofit is crowned that year’s Capital Region Gives Back winner. CSSC’s Executive Director, Diane Conroy-LaCivita, has been selected as one of the nominees for her work and dedication in making a difference in our community supporting seniors and their families. The 2025 Capital Region Gives Back event will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., at Putnum Place, 63 Putman Street in Saratoga Springs. The cost of a ticket is $40.
