Paul Slusar, a one-man show, will delight us as he plays keyboard, guitar, harmonica, trumpet, and even a bit of ewi! If you aren’t sure what that is, you will have to come and find out. He plays music that spans from 1900 to present day. Meat Lasagna is on the menu. Suggested donation of $6.

Ric Bedrosian will provide a wide variety of popular songs by artists like The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkle, Crosby Stills & Nash, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, and Irish sing-alongs. Please join us for a conversation with Paul Grondahl, Director of the New York State Writers Institute at the State University of New York, on Wednesday, December 5, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Paul will discuss his years as a staff writer at the Times Union, his mission at the WritersInstitute, and a new book about William Kennedy. The book is titled “Bootlegger of the Soul: The Literary Legacy of William Kennedy,” and chronicles Albany and its fascinating story, from 1930 to today. The book will be available for purchase. Every holiday season, Saratoga Living and Capital Region Living magazines team up to present Capital Region Gives Back, a celebration of the people who help make our community a better place.
