Join Diane on her next scheduled international excursion to the Parting Glass on Wednesday, March 8 at 5:30 p.m. (CCSC buses will leave BLC and KTSC at 4:45 p.m.)

Opening on Saint Patrick’s Day in 1981, The Parting Glass is said to be the oldest continuously run bar & restaurant in Saratoga Springs. In the 1990s The Parting Glass had the honor of being voted one of the top ten great places to toast the luck of the Irish by USA Today. They derive their name, “The Parting Glass” from a beautiful song and poem that wishes everyone a safe journey home after having their last drink of the night, “The Parting Glass”.

The cost of the meal/outing is $39 which will include a buffet of Irish inspired dishes including corned beef & cabbage, boiled potatoes and carrots, Irish Shepard’s Pie and homemade Jameson Irish bread pudding. Coffee/tea is also included. The restaurant will put on some drink and beer specials for our group. Bring your dancing shoes, Celtic music will start at 7:00 p.m. and we plan to listen to a set.

CSSC Transportation Services are available for those who are unable to drive themselves.

Please call Diane at 518-459-2857 ext. 305 for additional information or to reserve your spot.
